I picked up this exquisit Lao Buddha in March earlier this year in Chiang Mai , on my way back from China .
It is quite simply the most attractive Lao buddha i have bought in ages, it has both a serenity and intensity.

Carved in wood and painted it will date to about 1900 . Vacinity of Luang Prabang. Laos
Approx 100 cm including the black stand .
