A rare 18thC Blue Makahala Torgam.
The single door framed by an architectural moulding similar to that found on Tibetan temples.
The interior contains a painted offering to the five senses ,depicted by a flaming skull cup containing , ears , nose heart tongue and eyes .
The paint finish is undoubtedly of considerable age , but there is evidence of an earlier version underneath .
When the single door is removed it is apparent that cabinet has at some stage housed a pair of doors instead of the single now in use.
